Nuvama Wealth · Nuvama API Connect
Nuvama Wealth copy trading, built on API Connect
Connect your Nuvama accounts through API Connect, choose which one is the parent, and its orders are mirrored into every linked account with your own multiplier applied to each. Child accounts can sit at any supported broker.
Integration
How QuantGrid connects to Nuvama Wealth
QuantGrid connects to Nuvama API Connect and watches the order book over its REST API, which is the source of record for replication on every supported broker. A Nuvama session lasts until midnight IST. Sign in on Nuvama's own site and QuantGrid stores nothing beyond the API key and secret of your own app, or choose automatic sign-in, which holds your password and authenticator key encrypted and uses them for nothing else.
QuantGrid authenticates with Nuvama API Connect, reads your parent account's order book on a continuous poll, and normalises every event into the same internal format used for the other supported brokers. A Nuvama parent can drive a child at any of them, and the reverse.
Nuvama identifies an instrument by two of its own fields at once rather than by a symbol, and for shares one of them is the ISIN. QuantGrid holds Nuvama's published contract file and resolves both for you, so an order that arrives from a Zerodha or Angel One parent lands on the right Nuvama contract without you mapping anything.
- Orders are watched by polling Nuvama's order book, the same way every supported broker is
- Equity and F&O on NSE, BSE, NFO and BFO
- Sign in through Nuvama once a day, or let QuantGrid do it for you if your account has an authenticator app enrolled
- Instruments are addressed by Nuvama's own identifiers, which QuantGrid resolves from their published contract file
- Cross-broker replication: a Nuvama account can be a parent or a child
What to know about Nuvama Wealth's API
- Nuvama's console does not accept an IPv6 address in its registered-IP form, so Nuvama accounts are issued a dedicated IPv4 address, at ₹600 plus GST per 30 days.
- Nuvama checks the registered address on every request, not only on orders, so until the address is registered the account looks signed out.
- Nuvama sessions end at midnight IST, whatever time they began.
- Nuvama's API does not accept market orders and publishes no price endpoint. A market order copied into a Nuvama account goes out as a limit through the live price QuantGrid reads from another of your broker accounts, by the market protection you set in Trade settings (2% on Automatic), and if none of your accounts supplies that price, the copy is not placed. A square-off goes through Nuvama's own square-off route, priced the same way, or as a market order when no price is available. If the price moves past that limit, the order can rest unfilled, including on a square-off.
- Nuvama's order feed is not a WebSocket, so QuantGrid reads a Nuvama parent's order book every three seconds.
- Nuvama's place-order API can split a large F&O order into several orders on its own side, and documents no way to switch that off. QuantGrid tracks every piece Nuvama returns, but if the parent then changes that order's size, the Nuvama copy keeps its size and you are told.
- Nuvama caps how many orders an app may send in a day, blocks the app for a period when the cap is passed, and counts every modification and cancellation toward its order limits. Price chasing works by changing an order's price, so it is not offered on Nuvama accounts.

Connect Nuvama Wealth in three steps
Setup is a one-time job and usually takes a few minutes. Nothing is replicated until you explicitly link a parent to a child and save a multiplier.
- 01
Create an app on Nuvama API Connect
Register an app and paste in the redirect URL that QuantGrid shows you. Copy the API key and secret back into QuantGrid.
- 02
Whitelist your dedicated address
QuantGrid assigns your account a dedicated static IP. Register it with your Nuvama app. Nuvama checks the address every request arrives from, not just orders, so until this is saved the account will look signed out rather than merely unable to trade.
- 03
Link accounts and set your rules
Mark one account as the parent, add your child accounts, and set a copy factor and max quantity for each one. Replication starts on the next order the parent places.
Want the full order path first? Read how it works, or book a free demo and we will do the first link with you on the call.
Authorisation
Sessions, tokens and revoking access on Nuvama Wealth
Broker sessions are governed by the broker, not by QuantGrid. Here is exactly how that behaves so nothing surprises you at 9:15 in the morning.
You sign in on Nuvama's own site
QuantGrid sends you to Nuvama, you sign in there, and Nuvama sends you back with a session. Your Nuvama password and your two-factor code are entered on Nuvama's page and never reach QuantGrid: on this route the only credentials stored here are the API key and secret of the app you created, which are not enough to sign in as you.
Or let QuantGrid sign in for you, if your account has an authenticator app
If your Nuvama account has an authenticator app (TOTP) enrolled, QuantGrid can sign in for you each morning instead, holding your password and authenticator key encrypted and using them for nothing but that sign-in. It checks that the authenticator app is enrolled before it tries, and does not attempt a sign-in it can tell will fail, because Nuvama blocks an account after failed attempts.
Sessions end at midnight, by Nuvama's design
A Nuvama session lasts until midnight IST whatever time it was created, and Nuvama publishes no way to extend one. QuantGrid holds it until then and tells you when it needs renewing.
One static IP, reserved to your account
Your API traffic leaves from a dedicated static IP address that is never shared with another customer. Where a broker lets you restrict API access to a whitelisted address, you have one stable address to whitelist, and your activity is never mixed with anyone else's. See the security practices.
Pairing
Running Nuvama Wealth alongside the other live brokers
A Nuvama account works as a parent or as a child, in any combination with the other supported brokers. The differences that matter are handled on the way through: Nuvama names a share by its ISIN and a contract by its own token, both of which QuantGrid resolves from Nuvama's published contract file, and quantity needs no conversion because Nuvama counts in units exactly as the rest of the platform does.
Nuvama Wealth as parent
Drive children at any live broker
Orders placed in your Nuvama Wealth parent account replicate into child accounts at Nuvama Wealth, Zerodha, Angel One, FYERS, Groww, Motilal Oswal, Upstox, ICICI Direct, Dhan, Kotak, Tradejini and IIFL, each with its own copy factor and max-quantity cap.
Nuvama Wealth as child
Follow a parent at another broker
A Nuvama Wealth account can equally be the follower. A parent at Zerodha or Angel One or FYERS or Groww or Motilal Oswal or Upstox or ICICI Direct or Dhan or Kotak or Tradejini or IIFL drives it, with symbol and product-type translation applied automatically on every order.
See the full parent and child matrix for every supported combination.
Pricing
What Nuvama Wealth replication costs
One price per broker account you connect: its dedicated static IP, with every feature included. Nuvama Wealth needs IPv4, for the reason below. There is no platform fee, no per-child software surcharge and no share of anything you trade.
Dedicated static IPv4
Every feature included₹600per 30 days + 18% GST
per broker account
What your account is issued where the broker cannot take IPv6.
The cheaper IPv6 address is not offered for Nuvama Wealth, because it would not work. Nuvama's order endpoint does answer over IPv6, but its console will not accept an IPv6 address in the registered-IP form, and Nuvama checks the address on every request, so an IPv6 address could not be registered and no order could be placed from it. Nuvama Wealth accounts need the IPv4 address above. See the dated reading for every broker.
