QuantGrid AlgoTrader
Run your own trading strategies from your own computer
QuantGrid AlgoTrader is QuantGrid's second product: desktop software that runs on your own computer and acts on the strategies, rules and limits you write, through your own broker account.

₹1,200 + GST per licence, per 30 days, static IP included. One licence is one computer and one broker account. Install the app, then sign in with your QuantGrid account (the app opens our sign-up page if you have none). How it works
QuantGrid AlgoTrader is not code-signed yet, so Windows or macOS may warn the first time you open it: the install notes below say what to do.
The Sign in and Get started links in this site's header and menu open QuantGrid's web dashboard, which is for trade replication. QuantGrid AlgoTrader has no sign-in on this website: you sign in inside the app. One QuantGrid account works for both products, so an account made with Get started, or with Create account in the app, signs in to either.
How it works
Seven steps from download to your first strategy
This is a genuine sequence: each step waits on the one before it. You take every step yourself, and nobody at QuantGrid has to set anything up first. Nothing is charged until you start a licence from your wallet.
Download
Download QuantGrid AlgoTrader for your computer from this page. It runs on Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit; macOS 13 or later, on a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later); or 64-bit Linux (x86-64) with glibc 2.28 or later.
Install
On Windows it installs for your Windows user only and needs no administrator rights. If the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is missing, the installer adds it first, and Windows may ask for permission. On a Mac you drag it into Applications and allow it once in System Settings, and on Linux you make the AppImage executable and run it, as the install notes on this page explain. On Windows and Linux it then updates itself in the background, applying each update when you restart the app; on a Mac, when a new version is out, the app tells you and offers to open its download, and you install it the same way.
Create your account and sign in
In the app, choose Create account: it opens QuantGrid's sign-up page in your browser, where you give your name, email address and a password, then enter the code we email you. Back in the app, sign in with that email address and password, and enter the code we email you to add QuantGrid AlgoTrader to your account on that computer. Already have a QuantGrid account? Just sign in: one account serves both products.
Choose your broker
Pick your broker from the list in the app and enter your client code. QuantGrid AlgoTrader works with Zerodha, Angel One, FYERS, Dhan and Upstox, and choosing costs nothing.
Pay and start your licence
Start your licence from your prepaid QuantGrid wallet balance: ₹1,200 + GST per 30 days, per licence, with the dedicated static IP included. If your balance is short, the app opens QuantGrid's payment page in your browser so you can top it up. Nothing is charged until you start a licence from your wallet.
Register your static IP with your broker
The app shows your dedicated static IP as soon as it is issued, usually within a minute, with your broker's own steps. You add it in your broker's developer console once.
Connect your broker and trade
Enter your broker API key and secret in the app; they stay on your computer. Then run your own strategies, in Sandbox mode first if you like, and log in to your broker yourself each trading day: SEBI requires broker API sessions to end every day and a fresh two-factor login each trading day.
In the app
Tools for your own logic
Each tool below runs rules you write or build, places orders you choose, or shows you market data. None of it decides a trade for you.
Python strategy host
Write your strategies in Python and schedule each one to start and stop at the IST times you choose. Every strategy runs in its own process, with its log streaming live while it runs.
Flow, a visual builder
Build a strategy without writing code by connecting blocks for market data, indicators, conditions and orders. Flow acts on the rules you draw, as you drew them.
Multi-leg options strategies
Set up options positions with several legs and put your own risk controls around them: stop losses, target levels and exit rules, all set by you.
Trade Manager
Manage one index-option position with a stop that steps up through a ladder of levels you define, and a square-off at the time you set.
Options analytics
Option chain, Greeks, open interest tracking, max pain, the IV smile, straddle views and more. They show you the market's data; what you do with it is yours to decide.
Charting terminal
Charts for the instruments you follow, in the same app as your strategies and your orders.
Scalping terminal
A keyboard-driven terminal for placing and managing your own orders without reaching for the mouse.
Sandbox mode
Run your strategies against virtual capital. Sandbox mode places no real orders with your broker, so you can watch how your rules behave before they touch your account.
Telegram alerts
Alerts on Telegram about what your strategies and your orders are doing.
Static IP
Why your orders leave from one fixed address
SEBI's framework for retail algorithmic trading requires every order sent through a broker API to come from a static IP address registered with the broker.
A dedicated static IP, included in your licence
Each QuantGrid AlgoTrader licence includes a dedicated static IP for its broker account alone, covered by the licence's price of ₹1,200 + GST per 30 days, and the app's order traffic to your broker leaves from that address.
- Registered once
- You add the address in your broker's developer console one time.
- Credentials stay on your computer
- Your broker API key and secret, and the session from your daily broker login, stay on your computer.
- Encrypted end to end
- The app's connection to your broker is encrypted end to end.
Price
One licence, one price
One price covers the licence and the dedicated static IP its orders leave from. You start it, and pay for it, inside the app.
Price
Static IP included₹1,200 + GSTper 30 days
per licence
The price covers one QuantGrid AlgoTrader licence, for one computer and one broker account, and the dedicated static IP that broker account's orders leave from.
- Paid from your wallet
- Deducted from your prepaid QuantGrid wallet balance every 30 days, with a 3-day grace period if the balance cannot cover a renewal.
- Nothing charged yet
- Nothing is charged until you start a licence from your wallet.
You buy a licence inside the app, not on this website: the app opens QuantGrid's payment page in your browser when your wallet needs a top-up.

Installing on a Mac
- Open the zip, if your browser has not already, and drag QuantGrid AlgoTrader into your Applications folder. Open it from there, not from Downloads.
- On macOS 15 or later, macOS says it could not verify the app: choose Done. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, choose Open Anyway beside QuantGrid AlgoTrader, enter your Mac password (or use Touch ID), then choose Open Anyway again.
- On macOS 13 or 14, Control-click the app in Applications, choose Open, then Open.
- When a new version is out, the app tells you and offers to open its download in your browser. Quit QuantGrid AlgoTrader, replace the app in Applications with the new one and allow it the same way. Your data stays where it is. After a new version, macOS may ask once to let the app use its keychain item: enter your Mac password and choose Always Allow.
- If macOS ever says the app is damaged and cannot be opened, do not work around it: delete it and download it again from this page.
